Shareworks (Morgan Stanley at Work) data arrives over SFTP rather than an API call — you export a report from Shareworks on your own schedule and drop it into a folder we host for you. Setting that up is the reverse of a normal connection: instead of pasting a credential you created elsewhere, you tell us which IP addresses your export job runs from and we generate a password for you here.
Note: the password is shown exactly once, immediately after you generate it. We never store it in a recoverable form, so if it’s lost the only option is to generate a new one. Regenerating doesn’t break your existing export job: the old username and password keep working for a week after you generate a replacement, so you have time to update your export job before the old one automatically stops working — or delete it yourself as soon as you’ve switched over, from the credentials list in the same section.

Submit your egress IP ranges

  • Click Connect above and find the Egress IP Allowlist section.
  • Enter the public IP address or CIDR range your export job runs from (the address our SFTP gateway sees the connection arrive from, not an internal/VPN address). Ask whoever manages your network egress if you’re not sure.
  • Click Submit. This is recorded immediately — you don’t need to wait for anything else before moving to the next step, though the range needs to be live on our firewall before a transfer from it will succeed.

Generate your SFTP credential

  • In the SFTP Credential section, click Generate.
  • Copy the username and password shown — this is the only time the password is displayed.
  • Configure your SFTP client (or Shareworks’ own scheduled export, if it supports SFTP delivery directly) with:
