BrightHire’s API exposes interview recordings, transcripts, and candidate and position data captured during your hiring process. We authenticate with an API key — a token you generate directly in BrightHire’s settings.

Who can generate the key

You’ll need BrightHire administrator access to generate an API token.

Generate an API key

  • In BrightHire, go to app.brighthire.ai/settings/rest.
  • Generate a new API token and copy it immediately — you may only see it once, so store it securely right away.

Enter your credentials

  • Click Connect above to open the connection form.
  • Paste the copied token into the API Key field.
  • Click Connect to save.
