Who Can Install
A Linear workspace member with permission to authorize applications. Depending on your workspace settings, a workspace admin may need to approve the application.Getting Started
- Click Connect, and you will be redirected to linear.app and shown a consent screen listing the access Human Intelligence is requesting.
- Review the requested access (see Permissions below), select the workspace you want to connect, and click Authorize.
- Linear will redirect you back to Human Intelligence. The Linear tile will switch to Connected within a few seconds.
Permissions
Human Intelligence requests a single read-only scope:Human Intelligence cannot create or modify issues, comments, or any other data in your Linear workspace.
Tokens
- The tokens Linear issues are stored encrypted at rest in Google Cloud Secret Manager, scoped per customer, behind least-privilege IAM. Human Intelligence developers and support cannot read their values.
- Access tokens expire after 24 hours and are refreshed automatically; tokens are fetched from Secret Manager only at the moment of an API call, so they are never written to disk, never cached in browsers or logs.
- All communication with Linear runs over TLS, and every secret access is recorded in Cloud Audit Logs.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect at any time:- From Human Intelligence: Integrations → Linear → Disconnect. We delete our copy of the tokens immediately.
- From Linear: revoke the Human Intelligence application under Settings → Security & access → Authorized applications. This immediately cuts off Human Intelligence’s access to your workspace.
