Sign in to Human Intelligence
Your admin will send you an invite link or you can sign in through your company’s SSO provider. Once you’re in, you’ll land on the home screen where you can see your recent activity and get oriented.
If you don’t have an invite yet, ask your People Analytics or IT admin to add
you to Human Intelligence.
Connect your first integration
Head to Settings > Integrations and choose the system you want to connect first. Most teams start with their HRIS (like Workday or BambooHR) since it has the broadest employee data.Click Add Integration, select your system, and follow the authorization prompts. Human Intelligence will begin syncing your data automatically — most integrations finish their first sync within a few minutes.
You’ll need admin credentials for the system you’re connecting. If you’re not
the system admin, loop them in for this step.
Review your metrics
Once your data syncs, go to Metrics in the left sidebar. You’ll see a catalog of pre-built metrics like headcount, attrition rate, time to fill, and offer acceptance rate — all with clear definitions and formulas.Click on any metric to see how it’s calculated, which scope it applies to, and any organization-specific guidance attached to it.
Set up an MCP connector
Go to Connectors in the left sidebar and choose where you want to use your governed data — Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, or another MCP-compatible tool.Click Add Connector, select your destination, and follow the setup prompts. Once connected, you can ask questions and run analyses directly from your AI tool of choice. Every answer is grounded in your governed metrics and definitions, so you can trust that the numbers mean exactly what they say.
Invite your team
Go to Settings > Members and invite your colleagues by email. You can assign roles and tags to control what each person can see — for example, giving your recruiting team access to hiring metrics while keeping compensation data visible only to HR leadership.
Permissions are tag-based, so you can set them up once and they’ll apply
automatically as new metrics and data are added.
